Putting technology to work
Spectrophotometers is a highly specialize camera that we use to detect the exact color of the vehicle. The camera will analyze the paint color in depth to then match it to a factory paint code to achieve the perfect color match.
Paint Mixing Technology is an advanced computerized system we utilize to recreate the vehicles factory paint color. Using the color code data from the spectrophotometer, the computerized system can precisely measure out the exact amounts of pigment and toner needed to achieve the factory color.
Paint Booth plays a very important role in achieving the perfect color match. Our paint booth is equipped to spray any size vehicle and has advanced controls for temperatures and humidity which ensures a flawless finish.

Our paint department team here are Kos’s Body Shop consists of certified technicians that are not only highly trained professionals but they understand the intricacies of color matching.
Paint Prep requires our technicians to properly clean and prepare the part of the vehicle so the newly applied paint can adhere without any issues. This step requires a lot of attention to detail and patience to ensure the damaged area is treated properly before paint is applied.
Application of Paint this step requires the technician to be confident in their craft and trust their keen eye to complete the paint application. To achieve an even and blended coat of paint our technicians have years of experience to ensure the perfect application.
Quality Assurance may sound daunting to many but our technicians take this step very serious because your vehicle is an investment and after the repair we want it to be perfect before returning it to you. Our repair process requires various quality checks to ensure the paint color is the correct color, texture and finish to match the original paint color.
