ADAS CALIBRATION
What is an alignment?
When our trained professionals are completing an alignment on a vehicle they are adjusting the vehicles’s suspension. A proper alignment is done when the technician adjusts the angles of the tires in relation to how they make contact with the road. After every major or minor repair our team preforms an alignment on every vehicle before the keys are handed back to the owner.
Signs Your Vehicle Needs An Alignment
One or more of these signs listed below could indicate that your vehicle is in need of an alignment.
Uneven tire tread wear
You can feel your vehicle pulling more to one direction
Your steering wheel vibrates or is off center when driving straight
What is ADAS Calibration?
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration is the process of evaluating and reconfiguring the vehicles mechanical and safety sensors to ensure proper operation.
Why is ADAS CALIBRATION Important?
Our vehicles are full of various safety features, cameras and sensors that help keep drivers safe and assist drivers when operating the vehicle. However, if the vehicle is in an accident the accuracy and reliability of these safety features and sensors could be compromised. Our technicians are specially trained to understand how to recalibrate your vehicles sensors and cameras to ensure the manufactures specifications are upheld. After every minor and major repair Kos’s Body Shop will preform a ADAS Calibration to ensure our customers vehicle is safe and road ready.
